Mindanao Displacement Dashboard, April 2019
The main objective of the report is to provide an overview of the displacement incidents in Mindanao during each month with special focus on protection needs of displaced families. The report is divided into 6 key sections:
- Displacement overview: Brief explanation of displacement figures in Mindanao.
- Group A: Overview of displacement incidents that took place in the course of the month including; : background of incident – date, location, reason for displacement, actors, etc. The analysis also include intervention of UNHCR, our project partners, government and others so far to that incident. A visual map of April incident is included, with number reference for each incident.
- Group B : Overview of displacement that lasted for more than 30 days (but less than 180 days) which serves as a strong monitoring tool not only for protection actors in Mindanao.
- Group C : Overview of displacement that lasted for more than 180 days (i.e. Marawi, Zamboanga, East and Maguindanao). There will be regular updates of figures of displacement, intervention of UNHCR/key stakeholders and current needs of the population.
- General updates (What you need to know?): Reflects major updates/news related to IDPs in Mindanao.
- Map: Reflects current displacement figures (including groups A, B & C).
